Fictions Anyone?

Dear Parents and friends

Been to the Library recently?

Well, I came across a quiz on "fiction genres" - a particular style of literature/art/music recognizable by its particular subject or form e.g. a heart shape stands for Romance or a Disney-liked castle for Fantasy!

I filled it up (just for fun :) and was given a token of my choice) and they just emailed me with the following information which I find very helpful to everyone (if you had not done so).

If you are new to fiction reading, you could pick up Genre Guides on Horror, Mystery, Science Fiction, Romance and Fantasy at the public libraries' racks.

If you have any enquiries on fiction, direct an email to FictionAdvisory@nlb.gov.sg.

Also, you might wish to take a look at NLB website/blog for more information on the genres.

You could do a search for any titles or authors at NLB's catalogue before making a trip down.
To do so, click here.

- great time saver for wasted trips to the wrong branch!)

Hi! Everyone who would like to read about the happenings in our family members' lives, this is where to read about it.

We'll be posting videos of annual concerts for any other parents interested to review them.
